Rapid doors are doors designed to open and close at high speeds for industrial environments. They are commonly used in workshops, warehouses, production lines, etc., and are designed to improve logistical efficiency and reduce energy consumption, while safeguarding the safety of people and property.

Preparation before installation

1. Check the products and accessories: against the delivery list, carefully count the curtains, guide rails, motors, control systems, sealing tape and all kinds of hardware accessories of the PVC fast door to ensure that the quantity is accurate and there is no damage and quality defects. For example, check the door curtain for scratches and damages, and the motor shell for knocks.

2. Confirm the installation conditions:

1. Hole size: Use a tape measure to accurately measure the height, width and depth of the door hole to ensure that the size matches the specifications of the fast door. The general requirement is that the error of the height and width of the door opening is within ±5mm.

2. Wall condition: check the flatness and perpendicularity of the wall on both sides and above the doorway, the unevenness needs to be dealt with in advance. For example, use cement mortar to fill wall potholes and correct non-vertical walls.

3. Space requirements: Confirm that there is enough space above and around the installation position of the door to meet the installation and operation requirements of the fast door, such as the installation space of the motor, scroll and other components.

4. Power supply conditions: according to the power of the motor of the fast door, prepare the appropriate power supply, ensure that the power supply voltage, frequency meets the requirements, and is equipped with the appropriate leakage protection device.

3. Preparation of installation tools: prepare electric drill, screwdriver, spanner, level, wire drop, welding machine (part of the installation needs welding), textured paper, glass glue and other tools.

Guide rail installation

1. Positioning and marking: Use the patterned paper on both sides of the door opening wall according to the installation position of the guide rail fast door guide rail outline line, or use the ink bucket pop-up line. Ensure that the position of the guide rail is vertical, with the aid of line drop measurement, the error does not exceed 2mm.

2. Drilling and fixing: Drill holes with electric drill according to the scribed position, the distance between the holes is about 30 - 50cm, and the diameter of the holes is matched with the expansion bolts. Tap the expansion bolts into the holes, set on the guide, and use the nut to fix it initially, at this time, the guide is not completely tightened, so that it is easy to make subsequent adjustments.

3. Verticality adjustment: use a level to check the verticality of the guide rail, make the guide rail vertical by adding or subtracting shims or fine-tuning the nut, tighten the nut to fix the guide rail.

Reel and motor installation

1. Installation bracket fixing: install the fixed bracket of scroll and motor at the suitable position above the door opening, if it is concrete structure, use expansion bolt to fix it; if it is steel structure, it can be welded to fix it. Ensure that the bracket is firmly installed to withstand the weight of the door body and the running tension.

2. scroll installation: place the scroll on the fixed bracket, adjust the position to make the scroll parallel to the guide rail, the error is not more than 3mm. use the coupling or other connecting devices to connect the scroll with the motor shaft to ensure that the connection coaxiality.

Door curtain installation

1. Door curtain threading: Start the PVC door curtain from one end of the reel, pass it through the guide groove above the guide rail in sequence, and then fix it on the reel, usually fastened with special clamps or bolts. Ensure that the door curtain slides smoothly in the guide rail without jamming.

2. Counterweight installation: for the larger size of the fast door, in order to ensure the smooth lifting of the door curtain, the bottom of the door curtain needs to be installed in the counterweight device. According to the width and weight of the door curtain, install the counterweight block evenly and fix it firmly with bolts or hooks.

Control system installation

1. Installation of control box: Choose a convenient and safe location, such as the side of the doorway at a height of 1.5 - 1.8m from the ground, and install the control box. Fix the control box on the wall with expansion screws to ensure firmness.

2. Line connection: According to the electrical schematic diagram, connect the motor power line, control line and control box correctly. Use crimping pliers to make sure that the wires are firmly connected and not loose. At the same time, connect the lines of various sensors (such as infrared sensors, geomagnetic sensors, etc.), pay attention to the distinction between the signal line and the power line to avoid connecting the wrong.

3. Debugging: Turn on the power, test the functions of the control box, such as manual buttons to control the lifting of the door, stop, set the automatic closing time, induction sensitivity and other parameters. Through debugging to ensure that the control system is accurate and reliable.

Safety device installation

1. Infrared sensing device: install infrared sensing device at the appropriate height on both sides of the doorway to ensure that the transmitting end is aligned with the receiving end and there is no blockage in the middle. When there are objects blocking the infrared light, the door should immediately stop falling or reverse rising.

2. Safety bottom edge: install safety bottom edge at the bottom of the door curtain, and keep a suitable distance between the safety bottom edge and the ground (generally 2 - 5mm). When the safety bottom edge is subjected to certain pressure, the door body will rise automatically to prevent people and objects from being caught.

Overall commissioning and inspection

1. Operation debugging: operate the opening and closing of the door several times, observe whether the door curtain lifts smoothly, whether the speed is even, and whether there is any abnormal noise or jamming phenomenon. If the door curtain does not run smoothly, you can adjust the guide rail, scroll or motor parameters.

2. Safety performance check: test the effectiveness of infrared sensing device, safety bottom edge and other safety devices. For example, block the infrared light with an object to check whether the door responds immediately; lightly press the safety bottom edge to see whether the door rises automatically.

3. Seal check: check the sealing situation between the door curtain and the guide rail, door curtain and the ground, either by observation or by hand to feel whether there is obvious air leakage. If the seal is not tight, you can adjust the position of the door curtain or add sealing tape.
